Playing under the lights at Indiana Wesleyan, the HU men's soccer team dropped its first MCC contest of the season 2-0.
It was all Indiana Wesleyan in the first half as their swarming defense left the Foresters reeling. The Wildcats outshot the Foresters 16-1 in the first 45 minutes of play and found the back of the net twice to take a 2-0 lead at intermission. A much more composed Huntington team took the field in the second half but couldn't overcome a two-goal deficit as the Wildcats cruised to the 2-0 win.
Chris Fox and Drew Mattingly shared goalie responsibilities finishing with six and two saves respectively. The Foresters are 2-7-1, 0-1-1 in MCC play. They travel to Goshen on Tuesday for a 7:00 p.m. kick-off.
