Scott headed to Huntington

Huntington University men’s coach Russ Lawson is pleased to announce Sean Scott from Darvel Scotland as the latest member of the 2010 incoming class.

“The coaching staff is excited that Sean has decided to continue his playing career at Huntington,” says Lawson. “He is a former youth academy player with the Scottish Premier League Side Kilmarnock FC. We are looking for him to make an immediate impact as a Forester.”

Coach Lawson goes on to say, “Combine Sean’s tireless work rate with his vision and one will see instantly as to why Sean demands the ball at his feet. He is a center midfielder whose composure and technical abilities allow him to control tempo and possession.”

This past season Scott continued his preparation for HU by playing in the rugged Scottish Junior League for Darvel Juniors FC. He plans to major in physical education. Sean is the son of Daniel and Eleanor from Darvel, Scotland.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
