Huntington, Ind. - The Forester men’s soccer team recently added two more players from the Buckeye state in Zac Eckert (Monroe, Ohio) and Westin Welker (Wooster, Ohio). Zac and Westin will bring an intelligence and work rate that will raise the competitive level of our team.”

“Zac is a tenacious defender who we will look to use on the left side of the park,” notes Coach Lawson. “His solid tackling ability and composure on the ball will be a welcomed addition.”
Westin Welker played his high school career at Wooster High School. His play on the field earned him numerous accolades which included two-time First Team North Central Ohio and First Team Ohio Cardinal Conference honors. As a senior he was named to the Division One All-Ohio First Team. He will enter HU as an
honor student and plans to major in chemistry. He is the son of Rodd and Martha Welker from Wooster, Ohio, and is the brother of former HU soccer player Tyler Welker.
