HUNTINGTON, Ind. - With the 2012-13 basketball season just underway, the Huntington University men’s basketball program has added another top player to their list of 2013 recruits.
Columbia City High School standout Daniel Woll has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career as a Forester this coming fall.
As a junior, the 6-6 senior forward did a little bit everything for the Eagles. He averaged 10.4 points, a team-high 6.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.8 blocks per outing and for his efforts earned numerous honors and awards which included being named Northeast Hoosier Second Team All-Conference. Woll was also invited to the IBCA Top 100 Workout.
"We are very excited that Daniel is a Forester,” said Head Coach Ty Platt. “Daniel is exactly the type of person and player we look for in an HU basketball player.
“He is a good athlete, good shooter, can play inside and outside, and is a good rebounder. His potential is unlimited. Without question, Daniel is going to have an outstanding career."
Woll joins teammate Drew Benedict of Columbia City, Indiana, in HU’s 2013 recruiting class.
