HUNTINGTON, IN - The Huntington College Athletics Department announced its Athletes of the Week for the week of January 17 - 23, 2005. Men’s basketball junior Steve Snider earned the honors for his excellent effort during the week’s competitions.

Steve Snider, a business management major from Indianapolis, Ind. (Hamilton Southeastern High School), was the bright spot in Huntington’s lone game of the week. Snider went 6-8 from the field and 5-5 from the line against Indiana Wesleyan University to lead the team with 17 points. Snider is currently averaging 12.6 points and 5.0 rebounds per contest for the NAIA 6th-ranked Foresters. Huntington is 15-7 on the season and is leading the Mid-Central conference with its 7-2 record. The Foresters return to action on Tuesday, January 25 when they travel to Fort Wayne to take on the Cougars of St. Francis.
The Huntington College Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past eight years, Huntington has produced 50 NAIA All-American honors and 99 All-American Scholar Athlete honors.
