Huntington, Ind.—Huntington University coach Steve Platt will preview the upcoming Forester men’s basketball season at the Foundation Breakfast on Nov. 8.
The breakfast will begin at 7:45 a.m., in the Habecker Dining Commons and conclude by 9 a.m. The public is invited to attend. The breakfast if free to first-time visitors and costs $6 for returning guests.
At the start of the 1994 season, Platt became the 23rd head coach in the University’s 80-year men’s basketball history. In the 12 years since, he has guided the Foresters to four MCC Tournament Championships, two NAIA Final Four appearance, four MCC regular season titles, and six national tournament berths. The 2005-2006 season marked the first time a Huntington University team became the national runner-up. Platt’s players have earned 20 All-American honors, 42 All-Conference honors, and on six occasions, the MCC has named a Forester Player of the Year.
