Kock named Huntington University's Athlete of Week

Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington University Athletic Department announced its Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 27-Dec. 3. Men’s basketball senior Alex Kock earned the honor for his outstanding efforts during the week’s competitions.

Alex Kock, a physical Education and health major from Auburn, Ind. (DeKalb High School), recorded two more double-doubles during the week to help the NAIA 2nd-ranked Foresters run their winning streak to nine in a row. Against the 20th-ranked St. Francis Cougars, Kock netted 24 points and grabbed 14 boards in the 96-91 win, and in the Foresters’ 93-85 victory over Bethel, he dropped in 29 points and had 11 rebounds. Huntington will return to action on Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. when they travel to Upland to take on the Trojans of Taylor University.
