HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Earlier this month the Huntington University men’s basketball team joined forces with the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity to give back to the community.

The Forester hoopsters spent a Saturday morning painting the interior of a Habitat house.

"The guys really enjoyed having an opportunity to give back to the community that supports us so well,” stated Head Coach Ty Platt. “Habitat for Humanity is a great organization and we hope to be able to contribute their cause again very soon.

"Our guys aren't the best painters, but they are quality individuals with big hearts."
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 16 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 46 NAIA All-America honors and 202 All-America Scholar Athlete honors. Huntington University is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations. U.S.News & World Report ranks Huntington among the best colleges in the Midwest.
