Playing in the NAIA Preview Invitational against some of the top teams in the country, the Foresters finished with a 622 to finish eleventh out of 16 teams at Deere Run Golf Course in Silvis, IL.
After posting a first round score of 310, HU followed up with a 312 on the second day. Leading the way was freshman Josh Teulker who shot a 71 and 79 to finish with a 150 for the weekend. Trey Stoll (77, 78) was second with 155. Three strokes behind him was Jordan Dawes with a 158 (81, 77). Matt Wilson was HU's fourth place finisher with a 159 (81, 78) and Cory Powell completed HU's scoring with a 162 (83, 79).
Oklahoma City University won the event with 594 followed by Texas Wesleyan (599), Indiana Wesleyan (601), Lee University (602), St. Ambrose (605), Lindenwood (606), Grand View (608), Davenport (612), Shorter College (620), Southern Nazarene (621), HU (622), Mobile (628), William Woods (628), Viterbo (632), Dakota Wesleyan (637) and St. Francis, IL (660).
The Foresters finish their fall season with a record of 22-14.
