HU Runners Compete at Griak Invite

The men and women's cross country teams traveled to Minnesota to compete in the Roy Griak Invitational. The women finished 20 of 24 teams and the men were 24th in a field of 43.

In the women's 6K race, Molly Andrews paced HU with a 100th place finish in 25:33. Emily Sealscott ran second for the Foresters with a 112th place finish in 26:00. Jill Roughia finished 120th with a time of 26:12, Vanessa Macias was 122nd in 26:21, and Shelly Chaffin finished 125th in 26:25. The University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse won the event with 60 points.

In men's action, Nick Johnson was the top runner for HU, finishing 81st in 27:16. Cody Hannie crossed in 28:02 for 136th place. Alex Milentis was 159th in 28:19, David St. Louis finished 172nd in 28:27, and Dan Lindbloom was 181st. The University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse completed the sweep with the men claiming the men's title with a score of 80.
