The Forester men and women's cross country teams both finished second in a Hokum Karem event at Goshen College.
Tri-State University won the men's event with a team score of nine, followed by HU (12) Goshen (26) and Grace (31). Running in two-man teams over a 10-mile course, Nick Johnson and Luke Diehl turned in the Foresters' best time of 53:00 for a third place finish. Michael Lehman and Joseph Njeri finished fourth in 53:34 and Cody Hannie and Dan Lindbloom were right behind them in fifth in 53:35.
The six-mile women's race was won by Goshen with a score of eight, followed by HU (14) and Grace (23). Molly Andrews and Emily Holliday paced the Foresters with a third place finish in 39:13. Vanessa Macias and Jill Roughia were fourth in 39:45 and Ashley Buck and Laura Bowman finished seventh in 41:40.
