Holiday baseball camp to be held at Huntington College

HUNTINGTON, IN-- The Huntington College baseball team will sponsor its annual Holiday Baseball Camp December 27-29, 2000. All sessions will be held in the field house of the Merillat Complex for Physical Education and Recreation.

The camp will cover many different skills, including hitting, pitching, defensive work, and base running. The Huntington College coaching staff will direct the camp, including head coach Mike Frame and assistant coaches Brian Abbott, Dave Kennedy, Russ Lawson, Jeff LeBeau, and Nathan Perry. Current Huntington College varsity players will round out the instructional staff.

Session One will be designed for ages 8–11 and will be held from 9:00–11:00 a.m. each day. Cost for Session One is $50 if registration takes place before December 15, and $55 thereafter.

Session Two will be designed for ages 12–14 and will run from 1:30–4:00 p.m. each day. Cost for Session Two is $60 if registration takes place before December 15, and $65 thereafter.

Session Three will be designed for ages 15–18 and will take place from 6:30–9:00 p.m. These evening sessions will concentrate on pitching, catching or hitting. Cost for Session Three is $25 per day, or $65 for all three days.

Discounts are available to previous participants of Huntington College Baseball Camps and to families with multiple children attending the event.

Each baseball camp participant will receive a T-shirt and personal hitting video. Session Three participants will also receive a personal pitching video. For registration forms or further information, contact head coach Mike Frame at (260) 359-4082 or 356-7491.
