Drummond earns All-American honors

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has
announced the 2010 NAIA Baseball All-Americans, as selected by the NAIA-Baseball Coaches Association (BCA) All-America Selection Committee. Huntington University senior Andrew Drummond, a Huntington native, was selected as an Honorable Mention All-American first baseman. In his final campaign as a Forester he hit .464 with 91 hits, 62 RBI and nine homeruns. Coming off a stellar season, he established numerous HU single season records which included hits (91), RBI (62),
at bats (196), games played (53) and total bases (139). His career batting average record of .408 and career RBI of 155 also earned him a top spot in the record books. The Foresters made their first trip to the NAIA National Tournament and concluded their 2010 season with a 31-22 record.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men
and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 53 NAIA All-America honors and 173 All-America Scholar Athlete honors. Huntington University is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and
