McGraw, Keske named Forester Athletes of Week

Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington University Athletic Department announced its Athletes of the Week for the week of Oct. 27-Nov. 2. Women’s soccer junior Bethany McGraw and men’s soccer junior Kevin Keske earned the honors for their outstanding efforts during the week’s competitions.

Bethany McGraw, an exercise science major from Toledo, Ohio (Toledo Christian High School), earns the honor for the second consecutive week after scoring four goals to lead Huntington past Grace College 5-2 on Tuesday. With the four goals, McGraw broke her own school record for most goals in a season with 23. She also now owns the record for most goals scored in a career with 54 with another season yet to play.

Kevin Keske
Kevin Keske, an economics and finance major from Dayton, Ohio (Dayton Christian High School), earned a key shutout as the Foresters’ keeper during the week. Keske had two critical saves to help Huntington get the 1-0 win over Marian College and earn a spot in the MCC Tournament for the first time since 2005. He also had five saves against Indiana Wesleyan University in the Foresters’ first round tournament game.
