Lindstrand named Crossroads Player of the Week

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Huntington University freshman leftfielder TJ Lindstrand helped guide the Foresters to a 5-1 record last week and for his efforts was named this week’s Crossroads Baseball Player of the Week in addition to being named the Forester Athlete of the Week.

A criminal justice major from Noblesville, Ind. (Noblesville HS), Lindstrand hit .550 for the week with 11 hits that included a double. He also scored three runs and drove in another in Huntington’s six games last week.

The Foresters (20-20, 14-12) travel to Goshen today for a 2:00 p.m. doubleheader.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 16 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 39 NAIA All-America honors and 213 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
