Kyle named Forester Athlete of Week

Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington University Athletic Department announced its Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 21-27. Men’s basketball sophomore Kevin Kyle earned the honor for his outstanding effort during the week’s competition.

Kevin Kyle, a recreation management major from Crawfordsville, Ind. (North Montgomery High School), averaged a double-double with 13.5 points and 10 rebounds per game in the Foresters’ two contests during the week. He scored 13 points and grabbed eight boards against Grace College and he had 14 points and 12 rebounds in their 67-57 win over Marian College. Huntington (16-7, 6-3) returns to action on Jan. 30 when they travel to Fort Wayne to take on the Cougars of St. Francis at 7 p.m.
