Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington University Athletic Department announced its Athlete of the Week for the week of November 21-27, 2005. Women’s basketball junior Amy Berry earned the honor for her excellent effort during the week’s competitions.
Amy Berry, a public relations major from Marion, Ind., (Oak Hill High School), had a strong performance in the Foresters’ first conference game of the season. Berry went 8 for 13 from the field and 11-11 from the line for a career-high 27 points against the Wildcats of Indiana Wesleyan. She also added three rebounds and an assist in the game. The Foresters (3-4) will host the University of St. Francis in their conference home opener on Tuesday, November 29, 2005, at 7 p.m.
