HUNTINGTON, Ind. — Indiana residents can now easily purchase a Huntington University license plate while helping to fund student scholarships.

Through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, current and former Foresters can purchase a specialized Huntington University license plate for their passenger cars, trucks, recreational vehicles and motorcycles. Of the additional $40 fee collected by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles for an HU plate, $25 will be sent to the university to underwrite student scholarships.

Ordering and renewing a license plate is also easier. Authorization for plates from the university is no longer needed. Instead, those interested in purchasing a plate can do so at any Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles license branch, by mail or online.
