Huntington, Ind.— Ancient Paths, an inspirational music group from the Dove Christian Fellowship in Kitchener, Ontario, has been nominated for a Covenant Award by the Canadian Gospel Music Association (CGMA). Steve Peng, a 1989 Huntington College graduate, along with his wife Rhonda, are members of the worship team.

Ancient Paths’ CD, “No One Else,” has been selected as one of four finalists for Inspirational Album of the Year by CGMA. Also, Bob Jensen, the co-producer and major song writer for “No One Else,” was nominated for Alternative Rock Song of the year for his song “We Honour Him.”

The CD features original praise and worship songs in a variety of styles to suit any taste. Steve and Rhonda sing background vocals while Steve plays the acoustic guitar. Steve lent even more creative talent as he wrote the lyrics and music to the song, “Lord of All,” featured on the CD.

The Covenant Awards will take place on November 2, 2002, in the Gryphon Theatre of Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario.

Copies of “No One Else” are available at Huntington College through Gary Town, Director of Special Programs, at gtown@huntington.edu for $16. The CD can also be ordered online at www.ancientpathsmusic.com.
