Wind ensemble to present 'A Night at the Movies'


Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington University Wind Ensemble will present its spring program, “A Night at the Movies,” on April 30 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held in Zurcher Auditorium in the Merillat Centre for the Arts.

The Wind Ensemble will feature music by John Williams and by Danny Elfman. Other selections include “The Magnificent Seven,” “Parade of the Charioteers” from “Ben-Hur,” “Colonel Bogey” from “Bridge Over the River Kwai,” “Patton March” and a “Star Trek” medley.

The wind ensemble is conducted by Dr. Robert Lynn. Tickets are $5 for general admission and $3 students and seniors. Tickets may be purchased by calling (260) 359-4261 or visiting the box office at the Merillat Centre for the Arts from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
