Slithering snakes highlight next Thornhill presentation

Huntington, Ind.— Thornhill Nature Preserve will host Dr. Mike Rowley, assistant professor of speech at Huntington College, and his brother Todd as they present a humorous and educational show on snakes. The event will be Tuesday, August 6, from 7-8:30 p.m., and is free to the public.

The Rowleys will bring their various snakes to the presentation as they teach ways to identify poisonous and non-poisonous snakes and how to respond to and avoid snake bites. They will also dismiss myths about snakes, talk about the snakes’ eating habits and much more. The presentation guarantees to keep the attention of all ages as the snake experts will have a question and answer period.
