Mossburg Strings to perform at Huntington University

Huntington, Ind.—Mossburg Strings will perform at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 23 in the Zurcher Auditorium of Huntington University’s Merillat Centre for the Arts.

Mossburg Strings is a string quintet comprised of the oldest five of nine Mossburg children. They play many different musical styles and have performed in a variety of venues. Some of the group’s more memorable performances have been for First Lady Laura Bush and for Gov. Mitch Daniels’ Inauguration Gala. Mossburg Strings also has been named Grand Champion at the Indiana State Fair Talent Competition four years and has won many additional scholarships and awards.

To purchase tickets, call the Merillat Centre for the Arts Box Office at (260) 359-4261. Ticket prices are $8-$12 for reserved seating, $5 for Huntington University students, discounted by $2 for students 13 and older as well as seniors, and half price for students 12 and younger.
