Digital media arts students to present senior exhibit

Huntington, Ind.—Huntington University will highlight the creativity of five seniors through the Graduating Digital Media Arts Majors Exhibit.

The Robert E. Wilson Gallery in the Merillat Centre for the Arts will feature the exhibit from April 22 through May 5. An artist reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on April 25.

The exhibit will include works from the following seniors:

Nuria Bagley of Huntington, Ind., a digital media arts major with a focus on computer animation

Ryan Bernard, of Fairborn, Ohio, a digital media arts major with a focus on digital video cinema

Hannah Morris of Terre Haute, Ind., a digital media arts major with a focus on computer animation

Luke Nimtz of Cromwell, Ind., a digital media arts major with a focus on computer animation

Dorina Oliveira of Senegal, a digital media arts major with a focus on digital video cinema

Germinal Rosell of Mexico, a digital media arts major with a focus on computer animation

Brian Thompson of Maplewood, Minn., a digital media arts major with a focus on computer animation

Evelina Wongosari of Indonesia, a digital media arts major with a focus on computer animation

“My project is called ‘Living in Color,’” Oliveira said. “It is a 20-minute documentary, and I hope people can hear the voices of the racial minorities on campus."

Wongosari will present her concept art, character designs, and short films in a number of traditional and digital media.

"I hope that everyone who views my work will be reminded that simple moments in life can be powerful memories and see that in my character designs and short stories, "she said.

The Graduating Digital Media Arts Majors Exhibit is open to the public. The Robert E. Wilson Gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., before and after all Merillat Centre performances, and by appointment.
