DeCou to head soccer clinic in April

Forester head coach brings knowledge and experience to area youngsters
Huntington, Ind.— The Huntington College soccer team will host an Indoor Soccer Clinic on April 13, 2002. Head coach Steve DeCou will head up the clinic from 8:00 a.m. until noon in the field house of the Merillat Complex at Huntington College. This event is open for children ages 5-13. The cost will be $15 per child and $10 for each additional sibling.

DeCou coached the Foresters to an 11-7 record in his second year at the helm of men’s soccer. DeCou was a four-year starter at Tennessee Temple University and played on the NAIA All-South team his senior year. DeCou also played semi-professional soccer for two years and has coached many different age levels.

The Forester soccer team is also planning a weeklong day camp this summer. The camp will be hosted by HC coaches and players past and present.
