College to hold MLK commemoration service

Huntington, Ind.— Huntington College will host a Martin Luther King, Jr., commemoration service on Monday, January 17, 2005. The public is cordially invited to attend the service from 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m., in the Zurcher Auditorium of the Merillat Centre for the Arts. The Reverend Luther Whitfield from Fort Wayne, Ind., will serve as guest speaker while the Huntington College Gospel Choir will contribute music.
Huntington College is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations. Following a decade of growth and development, Huntington College will become Huntington University in mid-2005.
