The Bethel College Pilots completed their undefeated run through the MCC regular season by downing the Foresters in three straight.
In game one, HU took an early lead and stayed a couple points ahead until the Pilots knotted the score at 20-20. The Foresters then made six errors to let Bethel walk away with the 30-23 win. The poor play continued for HU in game two and the Pilots took advantage with the easy 30-19 win. Game three was much the same and Bethel finished off the Foresters with the 30-24 win.
"We are much more successful in a faster paced game, "said Coach Schroeder. "Bethel slowed the game down and we struggled with the speed of the game."
Renee Biberstine and Amy Wilson each had eight kills to lead the team. Kayley Cervenka had a team-high six blocks. Kellie Hanson had 21 assists and Stephanie Stearns led the team with 16 digs.
The loss drops the women to 15-10 on the season and 3-4 in the MCC.
