Ogle earns year’s first HU Athlete of the Week

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The Huntington University Athletic Department announced its Athlete of the Week for the week of September 16, 2013. Women’s cross country senior Cendall Ogle earned the honor for her outstanding efforts over the weekend.

2013-14 started much like last year ended with Ogle earning Athlete of the Week. The Warsaw native (Warsaw H.S.) blew away the competition at the Lancer Invitational on Saturday. She placed first overall with a winning time of 19:17.30, nearly ten seconds faster than second place.

Ogle’s first-place finish paced the Foresters to a second place finish out of seven team at the Lancer Invitational hosted by Grace College.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 16 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 39 NAIA All-America honors and 213 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
