UPLAND, Ind. - The HU men’s tennis team dominated Taylor University Tuesday afternoon with a 9-0 sweep of the Trojans to remain undefeated in conference play 2-0, 2-1 overall.

Despite claiming all three wins in double action, it proved to anything but an easy start for the Foresters as evidenced at the No. 2 spot where Joseph Straznicky and Diego Inurritegui came back from a 7-5 deficit to win the match 9-7 to complete the sweep.

The Foresters carried this momentum into singles play where HU’s top four players won in straight sets to take control and easily cruise to the win.

It’s a busy week of tennis for the Foresters as they face conference foe Bethel College on Friday at 1:00 p.m. before traveling to Goshen on Saturday for two more matches, taking on the Maple Leafs at 9:30 a.m. and then squaring off with Cornerstone University at 1:00 p.m.
