Trailing Indiana Tech by five strokes after the first round of play, the Forester golf
team turned in an impressive 299 on day two of the Cedarville University Invitational to capture the title with a 610 at Beavercreek Golf Club in Beavercreek, Ohio.
Jordan Dawes brought home top medalist honors with a 148 (75, 73). Matt Wilson shot 76 both days to finish with a 152. Cory Powell was right behind him with 153 (80, 73). Seth Robertson tallied 159 (82, 77) and Josh Teulker finished with a 163 (80, 83).
Indiana Tech finished second behind the Foresters with a 623 followed by Cedarville (634), Northwestern Ohio (634), Mount Vernon Nazarene (646), Spring Arbor (647), Oakland City (652), Urbana (653), Taylor (657), Cincinnati Christian (658), Wilmington (692) and Ohio Christian (830).
The Foresters wrap up their fall season with an overall record of 47-3.
