HU women's x-country ranked 18th in preseason poll

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its Women’s Cross Country Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 poll and Huntington University landed the No. 18 spot in the rankings.

The Foresters return all seven runners from last year’s squad that finished 20th at the NAIA National Championships. Paced by the Crossroads League individual champion, senior Cendall Ogle, HU will look to defend their conference championship and earn a repeat visit to the national platform in November.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, independents and unaffiliated groups.
