HU takes 7th at A.C. Eddy Invitational

ANGOLA, Ind. – The HU men’s golf team shot a 16-over 304 to take 7th at the A.C. Eddy Invitational hosted by Trine University Wednesday afternoon at Zollner Golf Course.

Ryan Boester shot even par (72) to pace the Foresters and finish in a tie for 9th among a field of 74 golfers. Lance Hoch and Derek Zurcher each posted a four-over 76 while Devin Dale and Drew Benedict carded an 80 and 85 respectively for Huntington.

Six of the 11 teams shot under a 300 with Owens Community College capturing the invitational title with a 277 followed by Trine (293), Madonna (294), Hope (296), Indiana Tech A (296), Rochester (296), HU (304), Olivet (308) Manchester (309), Saint Francis (310) and Indiana Tech B (351).

The Foresters return to the links on Monday and Tuesday to compete in the Pilot Spring Invitational hosted by Bethel College.
