The men's tennis team concluded its spring season with a third consecutive 5-4 win, this time defeating Defiance College. The Foresters wrapped up the year with a record of 7-8.
Gonzalo and Martin Vivas were the only winners in doubles edging Tim Kurtz and Tyler Ault 9-8 at #1. In singles play, Gonzalo Vivas got the 6-1, 6-2 win at #1. Jon Brenneman didn't give up a game at #4 winning 6-0, 6-0 and Keaton McDonald won 6-2, 7-6 at #6 to even the match at 4-4. Only Jameel Brenneman was left on the court battling for the deciding point. He lost the first set, won the second and was up 4-1 in the third set. His opponent, Austin Kleman, rallied to win the next four games to take a 5-4 lead and was serving for the match. Brenneman broke him, held his serve and broke Kleman again for the 4-6, 7-5, 7-5 win.
