The Foresters dropped their fourth consecutive match with an 18-30, 27-30, 25-30 loss to Anderson University. With the exception of HU middle-hitter Tiffany Malfait, the Foresters were inconsistent and played tentatively the entire match. "We would run two or three good plays and then we would make two or three unforced errors," said Coach Schroeder. "With our lack of aggression, we simply let Anderson out-play us."
Malfait led the team with nine kills and five blocks. "Tiffany had a good match," said Schroeder. "If it hadn't been for her, the games wouldn't have been as close as they were." Kellie Hanson had 27 assists and Stephanie Stearns had a team-high 22 digs.
With the loss, the women drop to 9-8 on the season.
