Four Foresters earn postseason honors

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the Division II basketball awards for the 2006-07 season with four Foresters among the list of honorees.

Senior forward Amy Berry was a NAIA Third Team All-America selection. Berry, a senior Public Relations major from Marion, Ind. (Oak Hill High School), led the Foresters in scoring all season and finished with an 18.1 average on the season. Nationally, Berry ended the season second in Division II in free throw percentage as she hit 110 of her 121 attempts for 90.9%.

Three Foresters, senior Jessah Brumbaugh and juniors Annie Feldpausch and Amy Wanemacher, also earned NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors. Brumbaugh is Sociology major from Huntington, Indiana. Feldpausch is a Business Economics and Finance major from St. Johns, Michigan and Wanemacher is an Elementary and Special Education major from Archbold, Ohio.
