Foresters still looking for first MCC win

 The HU volleyball team is still looking their first MCC win as they dropped two matches over the weekend to Grace College and Spring Arbor University.

In an emotional night, Grace College took the floor for the first time since the death of freshman teammate Mallori Kastner and played inspired volleyball to beat the Foresters in three, 25-8, 25-17, 25-10. Courtney Berger and Melissa Grossman paced HU with five kills each while Emilie Jamison finished with nine assists.

On Saturday, the visiting Cougars of Spring Arbor swept the Foresters in three, 25-17, 25-21, 25-19. Berger finished with 12 kills to lead HU at the net. Jamison recorded 30 assists in the losing effort.

Huntington moves to 2-17, 0-7 in MCC play. They travel to Fort Wayne to take on Saint Francis on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
