Foresters second at Bethel Classic

This time history did not repeat itself. The Foresters were second after round one of the Bethel College Classic, but unlike recent results, they backed it up with another solid round to finish second with a score of 611.
Justin Imel led the way for HU shooting a 151 (77, 74) for the tournament. Spencer Batt shot a 75 and a 77 for a 152. Dan Schroeder finished with a 153 (75, 78). Ryan Bonner tallied 155 (77, 78) and Cory Powell had 166 (81, 85). HU's Jordan Dawes and Andrew Keefer each played individually and finished with 150 (74, 76) and 166 (85, 81) respectively.

Cedarville edged the Foresters by two strokes with a 609 to win the event. Indiana Wesleyan finished third with a 618 followed by Bethel (619), Marian (621), Taylor (632), Spring Arbor (636), Grace (638), Mt. Vernon and Holy Cross (648), St. Francis (650), IU East (680), Goshen (738) and Ancilla (798).
