Foresters ousted from tourney by IWU

MARION, Ind. - The top-seeded Indiana Wesleyan University women’s tennis team remained undefeated in conference play Tuesday afternoon by handing the 8th-seeded Foresters a 5-0 loss in first round action of the Crossroads League Tournament.

After sweeping all three doubles matches, the Wildcats went on to claim wins at No. 5 and 6 singles to force a stoppage on all other matches. With this win, Wesleyan advances to the semifinals against 4th-seeded Spring Arbor University on Thursday.

The Foresters (3-9) wrap-up their fall season next Wednesday when they travel to Tiffin University for a 3:15 pm. matchup.
