The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced its 2006-2007 Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll for NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA and Junior College/Community College, and the Huntington University Foresters were among the honorees. The awards recognize the nation's highest team grade point averages (gpa) for the 2006-2007 season based upon nominations submitted by WBCA-member coaches.
The Huntington University women's basketball team was fifteenth on the NAIA list with its 3.367 gpa. It is the ninth time that the Foresters have appeared on the Honor Roll since its inception eleven years ago. The 1997-98 Forester squad earned the highest ranking to date with a fourth place finish and a 3.480 gpa.
