The Foresters competed in the Mid-Central Conference Track & Field Championships where the women finished fifth with a team score of 50 and the men were seventh with 49 points.
In the women's competition, Josann Schoeff competed and scored in three events earning ten points individually and another eight points as a member of the 4x100 relay team. Schoeff placed third in the 200 meters (26.47) and fifth in the 100 meters (13.08). She ran the first leg of the 4x100 relay that finished second in 49.63.
Other top eight finishers included Bethany McGraw in the 400 meters (4th, 58.93), Michelle Kyler in the 400 hurdles (7th, 1:07.41) and pole vault (7th, 9-11.25), Molly Shirey in the 10,000 meters (7th, 43:38.25), Kelsey Green in discus (3rd, 134-08) and Haleigh Osborne in shot put (2nd, 39-11.25) and discus (8th, 119-09).
Bethel won the women's team title with a score of 264 followed by Indiana Wesleyan (207), Taylor (87), Marian (62.50), HU (50), Spring Arbor (40.50), Saint Francis (40), Goshen (32) and Grace (32).
On the men's side, Kam Bailey picked up two top four finishes in the 200 meters and 400 meters in 22.65 and 49.87 respectively. Other highlights from the men's action included Sean LaFontaine in the 400 hurdles (3rd, 55.66), Luke Diehl in the 3000 meter steeplechase (4th, 9:30.78) and 5000 meters (7th, 15:48.73), Alec Rosario in the 3000 meter steeplechase (6th, 9:54.27), Joseph Herber in the 10,000 meters (4th, 34:22.53), Lance Wood in the 10,000 meters (6th, 34:28.29), Ryan Morris in pole vault (3rd, 13-03.50) and Aaron Mills in pole vault (6th, 12-09.50).
Indiana Wesleyan topped the men's championships with a team score of 160 followed by Taylor (148.50), Bethel (147), Marian (106), Spring Arbor (103.50), Goshen (50), HU (49), Saint Francis (45) and Grace (9).
