Forester baseball team to host Kid's Night Out

Huntington, Ind.—Huntington University’s baseball team will host a Kid’s Night Out from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2006, at the Merillat Complex for Physical Education and Recreation.

Children ages 6 to 14 are invited. Admission is $7 for one child and $6 for each additional sibling.

Children will enjoy swimming, watching a movie, playing wallyball, basketball, whiffleball, volleyball, Nintendo®, and Sony PlayStation®. Participants should bring swimwear, a towel, athletic shoes, and money for snacks. A concession stand will be available with pizza for $1 per slice and pop and candy for 50 cents each.

Funds raised will go toward the baseball team’s spring 2006 trip to Daytona Beach, Fla., where the team will play in a jamboree against other schools from the Midwest. The Foresters will play eight games during the eight-day trip.
