Double overtime ends in deadlock

In a hard fought battle in which neither team could gain an advantage, the Forester men's soccer team ended in a 0-0 stale mate against Grace College after two extra periods.

"I thought this was an evenly matched game end-to-end," said Coach Lawson. "I loved our spirit and will to fight tonight. This was our third overtime game of season and I think it says a lot about our young team. They continue to battle game in and game out."

The Lancers had a slight edge in shots recording 16 to HU's 12. Forester keepers Chris Fox and Drew Mattingly tag teamed to record the shutout with one and five saves respectively.

With this tie, HU's record stands at 2-6-1. The Foresters travel to Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday for their second MCC matchup of the season.
