Donaldson named MCC Player of Week

Huntington University junior forward, Jenna Donaldson (Auburn, Ind., DeKalb High School) was named the Mid-Central Conference (MCC) Player of the Week for the week of November 3-9.

Donaldson had an outstanding week to help the Foresters get the season off to a 3-0 start. Donaldson averaged 21.7 points and 7.7 rebounds and was the team’s leading scorer in each of HU's three games. She began the week with a double-double against Indiana Tech on Tuesday with 22 points and 11 rebounds. She also was named the Huntington University Tournament MVP after scoring 21 points in a 78-73 win over Georgetown College and 22 in the Foresters' 76-56 victory over Judson University.

She also led the team in rebounding averaging 7.7 boards on the week and she shot 44% (22-50) from the field and 81.8% (18-22) from the line.

The Foresters return to action when they travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan to face the NAIA Division II 24th-ranked Saints of Aquinas College on November 12 at 7 p.m.
