Brumbaugh named Huntington's Athlete of the Week

 Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington University Athletic Department announced its Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 11-17. Women’s basketball senior Jessah Brumbaugh earned the honor for her outstanding play during the week’s competition.

Jessah Brumbaugh, a sociology major from Huntington, Ind. (Bellmont High School), helped lead Huntington to an important win over a tough 9-3 Malone College squad. She scored 11 points and dished out nine assists in the Foresters’ 64-60 victory. Brumbaugh is averaging 7.8 points per game for Huntington, and her team-leading 4.3 assists per game is third-best in the MCC. Huntington (7-4) will return to action on Dec. 27 at 1 p.m. CST when the team plays the University of St. Francis (Ill.) in first round action of the St. Xavier University Christmas Tournament.
