Worthington Christian High School standout, Gina Boucouras, has signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her education and volleyball
career at Huntington University this fall.
Boucouras, a 5'10 outside hitter, was a three-year varsity starter for the Warriors. She was a captain during her final two seasons and was named to the First Team All Central Catholic League as a junior.
In addition to her success on the court, Gina has excelled in the classroom as well. She is a member of the National Honor Society and was also recognized as a Scholar-Athlete. Her 4.035 GPA places her in the top ten percent of her graduating class.
"I chose Huntington University because of the amazing people and the University’s goal for every student to develop their faith," said Boucouras. "Huntington has a welcoming and friendly environment that is unlike any other college. I look forward to pursuing a Christ-centered education and contributing to the incredible volleyball program at Huntington University."
Gina plans to pursue a degree in Social Work with a minor in Youth Ministry. She is the daughter of Dean and Karen Boucouras.
