Adams named Crossroads Defensive Player of the Week

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Huntington University senior keeper Caitlin Adams has been selected as the Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. Adams was selected based on her performance on Saturday, October 26.

Adams totaled 12 saves in first round action of the Crossroads League tournament as the 5th-seeded Forester women’s soccer team picked off 4th-seeded Mount Vernon Nazarene University 2-1 in double overtime.

The Hughson (Calif.) native currently boasts a1.45 goals against average and has 92 saves in 16 matches to go along with six wins, three of which have been shutouts.

The Foresters (6-12) are back in action on Saturday when they face top-seeded Spring Arbor University at 7:00 p.m. in the semifinals of the conference tourney.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 16 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
