The NAIA #2-ranked Cedarville University Yellow Jackets used an up-tempo running game to sprint past the Foresters 98-51 in the championship game of the Huntington College Tournament. HC kept it close early and held a slim 9-8 lead five minutes into the game, but a 25-5 Yellow Jacket run over the next seven minutes gave Cedarville a 33-14 lead and they never looked back. The Foresters trimmed the deficit to 14 at the half at 43-29, but Cedarville emerged from the locker room and dominated play in the second half out-scoring HC 55-22 on 69% shooting. Four Yellow Jackets scored in double figures in the game led by All-Tournament selections Kari Flunker with 23 and Emily Delimpo with 22. Tourney MVP Brittany Smart added 19. HC senior Jamie Grogg led three Foresters in double digits with 15 points. Amy Berry and Betsey Bean, two All-Tournament team picks, finished with 14 and 12 respectively. Trinity Christian College's Jessica Einigenburg represented the Trolls on the All-Tournament team. The loss for the Foresters drops them to 3-2 on the season.
