Huntington to present Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast'

Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington University Department of Theatre Arts will bring the Disney classic “Beauty and the Beast” to the Zurcher Auditorium stage.

“Audiences will be delighted and spellbound by the story of Belle and her less-than-charming captor,” said Jay Duffer, director and assistant professor of theatre arts. “This magical tale with its beautiful music, elegant dancing and memorable characters makes this production a must-see.”

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” will run at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 12, 13, 14, and 19, 20, and 21, with two matinee performances at 2 p.m. on Nov. 14 and 21. The performances will take place at Huntington University’s Merillat Centre for the Arts in the Zurcher Auditorium.

Tickets are $12 for general admission, $10 for students and senior citizens, $6 for those 13 and younger, $5 for HU students, and $9 for HU faculty and staff. To purchase tickets, contact the Merillat Centre for the Arts Box Office at (260) 359-4261.
