Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington University Concert Choir, Women’s Chorale and Brass Ensemble will perform at Trinity United Methodist Church on Sunday, November 15 at the both the 9:00 and 11:00 service. The Choirs and Brass Ensemble will continue their tradition of sharing the Word of God through song.
The concert choir, under the direction of Dr. George Killian, will perform pieces including: Blessed Be the Name of the Lord by Grotenhuis, Festival Sanctus by Leavitt, O Clap Your Hands by John Rutter, My Soul’s Been Anchored in the Lord arranged by Moses Hogan.
The women’s chorale, under the direction of Mrs. Joni Killian, will present Majestic by Brewster, arranged by Williamson; My Offering by Arnold/Cartee, arranged by Kingsmore; and Cantate Domino by Ruth Watson Henderson.
The brass ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Robert Lynn, will play This Is My Father’s World arranged by Bob Burroughs, Nothing But the Blood arranged by Jeff Anderson, and In Modo Religioso by Alexander Glazounov.

During the Christmas season, the concert choir will join with community members to perform a large portion of Handel’s Messiah at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. That performance will take place on December 6 at 7:30 p.m.
