Dyson receives accounting scholarship

Huntington, Ind.— The accounting firm of N. Byron Price & Company, a division of Dulin, Ward & DeWald, Inc., has provided Huntington College with an annually funded scholarship program for accounting majors, which began during the 2003-04 academic year.

Kari Dyson, a senior accounting major from North Manchester, Ind., is this year's recipient of the award. Dyson has been listed on the Dean’s List of Academic Excellence and is currently employed on campus as well as off-campus at Community First Bank and Trust.

“I would like to thank the donors of this scholarship for this money. Without their support, I wouldn’t be able to attend Huntington College. I appreciate the support,” said Dyson.

The scholarship will be awarded annually to a junior or senior accounting major that has maintained a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) based upon a 4.0 GPA scale. The student must also demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Huntington County or contiguous counties.
