Forester media guide, website earn national honors

The cover to the men's basketball media guide was awarded top honors in the NAIA-SIDA contest.
Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington University 2004-2005 men’s basketball media guide and the Huntington University website were recently awarded national top-five honors from the NAIA-SIDA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics-Sports Information Directors Association).

For the second year in a row, the Forester men’s guide won best cover in the country in the men’s basketball brochure division. In its first year entered, the Huntington University website earned fifth place honors. This is the fourth time in as many years that Huntington University has received national recognition in the NAIA-SIDA Publications Contest.

Lori Culler, sports information director, Bethany Doyle, assistant director of public relations, and Julie Babb, publications and advertising coordinator, were responsible for the design of the media guide cover as well as the design, structure and content of the new athletics website, which premiered in February at www.huntington.edu/athletics.
